The brief
Maison Balzac makes glassware, candles and objects with a lot of personality. The store needed to feel the same way.
A broad collection was being presented like a warehouse catalogue: categories, filters and grids that gave no sense of the brand's wit.
The redesign needed to make browsing feel like discovery, while keeping the path to purchase short.

What we did
- 01
Shop by ritual
Eat, Drink, Decorate, Scent and Surprise replace conventional categories, turning navigation into part of the story.
- 02
Photography leads
Large, colour-rich imagery and minimal interface let the products carry the personality.
- 03
Clear when it counts
Product pages, bundles and boutique details stay plain and practical, so the theatre never gets in the way of buying.
Outcome
Browsing now feels like part of the brand experience, and customers can move from inspiration to checkout without hunting through menus.
